Schaefer Ranch Park — Dublin
The perfect bonus park to a walk around the Dublin Hills at Donlon Staging Area or so much fun all on its own.
There are two playgrounds separated by a large concrete area perfect for chalking. The larger play area has three main platforms connected by either stepping bars (kinda like a bridge ladder combo), a traditional bridge, or suspended lily pads. Collectively there are four slides (two straight slides, a double, and a sidewinder), steps, ladders, monkey bars, activities, a sliding pole, and monkey rings. This play area also has a balance beam and a two-person teeter-totter.
The smaller play area has two sides (double and sidewinder), steps, ladders, a crawling tunnel, activities, monkey bars, and stepping pads. Near the structure is a swing set with standard and bucket swings. Next to the play areas is a covered group picnic area and a bathroom.
There is a huge grassy area below the play area with a sidewalk around perfect for biking or scootering. The park also has a basketball court tennis court, and two well-maintained horseshoe pits.
Easy and abundant street parking.
Very little shade.
