Alden E. Oliver Sports Park— Hayward

A popular destination for the sport enthusiast, Alden E Oliver Sports Park in the south side of Hayward has a massive baseball/softball complex, soccer field, and a fitness court

The multilevel playground has two slides (a straight slide from the lower platform and a spiral from the higher platform), steps, ladders, a tunnel/stairway, a lookout hole up top, a climbing wall, and swings (both standard and bucket). Next to the playground is a bunch of picnic tables. Stick to having your picnic at a table great because you definitely don’t want to picnic on the grass behind the playground... it has plenty of “natural fertilizer” from the geese

There is a lot of parking and bathrooms near the parking and playground.
