Grover Cleveland Park aka Tony B Santos Park — San Leandro
A quiet park on a cul de sac in San Leandro
10/10 recommend a park at the end of a cul de sac as it makes for very little little traffic and you know that, even though it’s not gated, there’s just one way in.
Grover Cleveland is the only name I know this park by but the sign says otherwise.
The play structure has many climbing elements including a rope ladder, boulder wall, vertical bridge maze, and more. There is a spiral slide, a zip line, a bridge, a firefighter poll, steps, and a spinning sphere perfectly sized to fit two small kids. The playground also has a climbing dome and a swing set with one standard and one bucket swing.
On the grassy area there is a bucket ball past and a hoop ball post. Beyond the play area, is a covered picnic area with bbq. I particularly liked the art painted on the cement wall that separates the park from the freeway.
Surrounding the playground is exercise equipment.
No bathrooms. Parking area with a few spaces or street parking.
