The San Lorenzo Community Park is sports, meets playground, meets bird watching in an all-around fun family outing!

Called the Duck Pond by locals, San Lorenzo Community Park offers so much to do here you could spend hours! Baseball and softball diamonds, soccer field, basketball courts, a gazebo, two play structures, a fun zip line, rock walls, a “treehouse”, hillside slides, exercise equipment. Oh yeah, and the POND with so many different types of birds and a nice platform walkway for up-close exploring (no big holes for small kids to fall through)!

There’s lots of parking and even bathrooms. Lots of picnic spots on grass or tables. Some tables have a nice covering plus there is a big gazebo near the pond.

The opened gate entrance is on Via Buena Vista. If you turn left when entering you’ll go to the backside where the fun zip line, rock wall, treehouse, and metal slides are found along with the pond and basketball courts. Turn right when you enter and you’ll find the two play structures, swing set, picnic table area and open field. The larger of the two structures has a spiral slide, ladders, steps, a bridge, and a climbing wall. The smaller structure has two slides, steps and a ladder.

A fun bonus of this spot is getting to see planes land or a train passing by.

GPS will sometimes lead you to a different entrance than the “main one” so watch out for that (the main entrance is on Via Buena Vista)
