Stenzel Park (South Playground)— San Leandro

Playground with three slides (spiral, sidewinder, double), stairs, ladders, monkey bars, a zip track, inclined climbing walls, a sliding pole and more. There is a swingset with standard and bucket swings. Picnic benches are close by the play area. We really liked jumping up and down the wobbly stander.

Street and lot parking.

Bathroom close to playground.

This park shares facilities with Washington Manor Junior League and can be VERY crowded on game days.

There is a smaller play area that I’ve previously reviewed on the north side of the park (on the other end of the baseball fields).
