Floresta Park — San Leandro

Floresta Park offers two playgrounds and lots of grass!

This park has two playgrounds!

The smaller one is gated (not closed completely) and along with the two slides (spiral and double) it has some fun additions like a steering wheel and a rocket track to planets (including Pluto so you know this one is older. Awww poor Pluto ). There’s also a small table and a rocking ride on motorcycle. In this almost gated area are benches, essential for a park outting

The larger playground has lots to offer including two slides, a zip line, a bridge, an inclined climbing wall, and multiple ways to get on the structure including my favorite style the “ladder tunnel”. One thing to note about this park is that there are only bucket swings, so bigger kids will not be able to swing.

A huge grassy area is perfect for picnics or kicking around a ball. There are two picnic bench areas and a baseball diamond (not maintained however the gated baseball diamond is really nice) There’s an open bathroom. Street parking is always available!
